Hong Kong’s Action on Salt and Sugar Reduction
The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department has been striving to promote healthy eating in Hong Kong. We initiated the “less salt less sugar” campaign leveraging face tracking and AR filter as our core campaign strategy. We enthused users to design their own distinctive and interesting photos and stories by superimposing different digital images, sharing different eating tips to deliver the message that the eaters can become prettier and healthier by reducing the intake of salt and sugar in food. The campaign has successfully promoted the healthy eating habits with immense user engagement .
